We recommend starting with your typical US shoe size. The Phoebe runs slightly narrow, so we recommend sizing up in width for a comfortably snug fit.
The Phoebe is designed for a glove-like fit. The embossed leather will soften slightly with wear, though it will hold its shape more than softer nappa or suede.

Our embossed shoes are made from a python-embossed Italian calf leather. Calf leather is not water-resistant, so avoid exposure to water and rain. To maintain the sheen and finish over time, you can use a quality leather lotion.
